We partner with entire communities to help keep children safe and families together!

Churches throughout our network play a significant role in the Safe Families movement. Through a partnership with local churches, we recruit, train, and mobilize volunteers to care for children and their families. Churches of all sizes, denominations, or non-denominational backgrounds partner with Safe Families for Children.

Churches partnering with Safe Families can range from urban to suburban to rural, and from small to large. Some churches may have many host families, family coaches, and family friends, while others have just a few, but also provide much-needed support and resources to our volunteers. We are excited to see more and more churches recognize the need to help struggling families and how simple acts of compassion and hospitality can truly impact lives, offer hope, and provide a tangible expression of the Gospel.

Safe Families for Children has many dedicated partners who serve in both public and private capacities that address specific life vulnerabilities such as housing insecurity, unemployment, addiction, domestic violence, physical and mental health challenges, and many more.

We work with numerous local organizations, schools, government agencies, non-profits, and faith communities to refer families, recruit volunteers, and provide a network of resources and relationships.
